Work must be original, completed within the last two years, and not previously exhibited in any Smoky Hill Exhibition. Refer to "call for entry" page for entry specifications.
Work must be able to pass through a standard doorway – otherwise, there are NO size restrictions. Two-dimensional work must be suitably framed with a presentation appropriate for professional gallery exhibition, including appropriate and secure hanging device (see "call for entry" page for presentation specifics)
Utmost care in handling will be given all entries. However, the Hays Arts Council will assume no responsibility for the loss or damage to any work entered. All individuals working with this exhibition shall be held blameless for any and all liabilities arising from this exhibition.
The Hays Arts Council shall assume the right to reproduce the image (print or digital) of any accepted entry for catalog or promotional purposes related to this exhibition. Entry constitutes the artist’s agreement.
The Hays Arts Council will retain a one-third (33 1/3%) commission on sales of accepted works. Payments for all works sold will be made to the artist on or before June 15, 2025.
